gloop
Build infinite looping machines to a beat in gloop! Audio highly recommended, full-screen highly recommended. Mouse only.
Tutorial
There are a lot of emergent mechanics in this game, so you'll have to play around and discover some of them for yourself! There is an in-game tutorial (via flashing squares), but these gifs may be useful for explaining nuances that the in-game tutorial may overlook.
Credits
Game made by ollie-d and cha5m in 96 hours for GMTK25.
All assets were made during the jam except for the font (Roboto) and the infinity symbol (can't remember where I got it from, will find)
Inspiration
This game is heavily inspired by the track machines found in Zachtronics games such as Opus Magnum, and the aesthetic of THOTH and 140 by Carlsen games. I also have made games along a similar vein in previous GMTKs if this is your cup of tea.
Shoutouts
To my wonderful girlfriend Dillan for putting up with me entering goblin mode to do this jam, and for her excellent artistic eye and playtesting.
